The Walter Carsen Centre is open from 9am - 8pm, Monday to Friday, and it is closed on all holiday weekends. You can mail your registration to the address above, or drop it off at the reception desk in an envelope marked "Inner Hero." Please note that the National Ballet's receptionist does not have any information about our programs, so you should contact us by phone or email if you have questions. We thank The National Ballet of Canada for the use of their beautiful and spacious studios. Inside you'll enjoy floor to ceiling windows, full-legnth mirrors and an ambient temperature of 23C. You'll also have access to changerooms with lockers and showers. The main entrance is locked on Saturdays, so you should plan your arrival 5-15 minutes ahead of the class start time when someone will be available to let you in.
Participating in our classes requires that you respect the security policies and privacy of The National Ballet of Canada and its guests. These policies are outlined in our Registration Form and on signs inside the lobby. Your co-operation is appreciated and expected. Travelling by TTC Fom Union Station, take either the 509 Exhibition
or 510 Spadina streetcar. From the Bloor Subway line, you can take the 511 Bathurst South streetcar and transfer to the 509 Union Station streetcar at Lakeshore Blvd/Fleet St., or take the 510 Spadina South streetcar from Spadina subway station. Get off at the corner of Queens Quay W & Lower Spadina and walk west. Travelling by Bike Path
You can skate, cycle or walk along the
Waterfront Trail, which connects to the Martin Goodman trail from the east and west. If you are cycling, securely lock up your bike to avoid theft. Travelling by Car and Parking
Take Lakeshore Blvd to Lower Spadina and turn south, towards the lake. The next intersection is Queens Quay West. Note that the Spadina Exit from the eastbound Gardiner Expressway has no access to Lakeshore or Lower Spadina. Parking in the area is limited! There is a flat-rate lot on the south side of Queens Quay between Bathurst and Spadina. Rates vary from $7 - $12 depending on local events. There is a metered lot on the north side of Queens Quay W behind the drug store just east of Spadina, where you can pay by the hour.
